How to Advertise Your Brand on Grocery Carts

Grocery cart advertising is a great way to promote your business, particularly if you’re planning to build a brand name and trying to stay ahead of the competition. Picture yourself ambling through a grocery store with a cart that contains a large advertisement of a pizza place, real estate agent, or any cosmetic product. The probability of you contacting the advertiser or remembering his/her name becomes very high due to constant exposure.

Cart ads are generally placed inside the vehicles so that the people pushing them can notice the image instantly. Grocery stores normally use the services of advertising agencies to sell such ads.

Instructions

  • Get in touch with the manager of your local grocery store and inquire about cart advertising. You can also call the advertising agency that takes care of the grocery store's marketing department and ask what their prices are and what type of art is required for the advertisement.
  • Get a professional to design the ad for you. It’s best to not bother with too many words. You'll benefit more with images that get your service or product, phone number, name or web address across. For instance, if you own a pizza place, a picture of a delicious pizza will attract more customers.
  • Put your advertisement inside the holder provided to you by the agency or buy a holder from the market and place the ad in it. Fix the advertisement to the cart, either on the inside, front or at the sides of the vehicle.

It is also advisable to be consistent with such advertising. You will have to be patient as it will take more than one month for such a technique to generate results. To build your brand, it is essential that you stay persistent, plus keep offering specials to the store customers and publicize yourself in other areas as well, including bulletin boards.
